Now that you have a foundation in place, it’s time to take your live stream to the next level. In this session, you’ll learn the best techniques to make the most out of your live stream, not just technically, but also how to better understand and engage your viewers.

When is pitch correction necessary for live worship? If we decide to utilise these tools, where do we start from a technical (hardware/software) standpoint? Where might things go wrong if we don’t have a good plan in place? Whether you are new to pitch correction or a seasoned pro, this session will provide a framework for increasing your odds of musical success!

Lighting 101 – The basics of lighting for the non-lighting expert. If you’ve ever had lighting responsibility unwittingly thrust upon you, this session is for you! We’ll cover various types of stage lights, what they do, and how they are controlled.

Many of our churches meet in rented spaces, including mine. The faster the gear
can be set-up and taken down is a huge advantage in this environment. Our
church for example is charged additionally every hour that goes by after our time
is up. We also don’t want to tie up the volunteers ’day.
This class will illustrate how easy systems can be to set up and operate, even by
volunteers with little to modest levels of skills. We will demonstrate the scalability
of these systems so that as the church grows , the systems capabilities can grow
right along with it. We will talk about loudspeakers, audio mixers for the
sanctuary and the stage and why you would want to consider digital technology
for these applications: presets and recall, which will facilitate fast and repeatable
set up and operation.
