Christian Musician Summit 2024

As music ministers, we serve our church communities. We can only give what we already have received. As we lead people into the presence of Jesus, we must first be filled with His presence. A problem is that Jesus says that we will experience tribulation, distress and suffering. Then He tells us to be courageous, confident, and filled with joy because He has overcome the world. Like King David, we must learn how to strengthen ourselves in the Lord. Let’s talk about how to be encouraged and spiritually energized with power through His Spirit.

Whether you serve on a worship team, aspire to write songs, or just want more room in your life for creativity, you’ll be inspired by Brian and Marika’s story of creative collaboration. This workshop will explore the importance of creative intention and how to seek out and navigate collaborating with others. They’ll share stories of co-writing on songs, producing special event music projects for network television and most recently collaborating together on the Come Now is The Time To Worship Tour.

In this workshop, Marika will share on how to support women in creative projects and leadership, and how to empower women within our worship community. She will share stories drawn from her life as a songwriter, recording artist, worship leader & team member, actor, film director and as a creative coach and mentor with the goal of helping create safe spaces and environments for all women to thrive in church and creative spaces.
