At this year’s Pre-Conference Keyboard Intensive, Ed Kerr will share insights, stories and tips that will help you grow more confident as you minister on your instrument.

Brian will explore subjects like the key of overcoming the resistance that keeps your song locked up, writing for the gap so you are competing with no one but yourself, writing in your signature style and learning your mother tongue, how songs start as seeds and the importance of being a seed collector. He will also explore structure options with viable alternatives to verse / chorus, and some techniques to help your lyrics find a fresh way to say the familiar. Brian will also share the inspiring stories behind some of his well-known songs.
