At this year’s Pre-Conference Keyboard Intensive, Ed Kerr will share insights, stories and tips that will help you grow more confident as you minister on your instrument.
You are encouraged to bring a keyboard with you with headphones, if you are able.

Whether you’re a classically-trained pianist who loves playing from sheet music or your happy place is playing from a chord chart this Intensive will inspire, encourage and challenge you.

And more! The casual setting of this all day session allows Ed to spend time answering questions, dig deep into content as needed and tailor his content to what’s relevant to keyboard players who attend.

We’ll explore ways you can let hardware and software enhance your keyboard contributions to your worship team.

How to think as an arranger to bring fresh life to a song that you and your team (and your congregation?) are fine with never playing (or hearing) again. Finding chords that are satisfying additions to what’s already in your chord charts.

Creating musical/ministry moments where we choose to go beyond the chart for a musical interlude or instrumental.

Tips for how to create music when it’s just you and your keyboard. Moments like playing for prayer times and communion moments or transitioning from song to song.
